Nino: I wonder what about Aiba-san has changed…
Aiba: That’s because I haven’t changed at all.
Jun: [looks at the reference photos] Your face hasn’t changed all that much…
Sho: That’s true, you haven’t changed much! Did you like animals when you were younger? You kept lots of pets right?
Aiba: I used to keep dogs and the like at home. That’s right, when I was much younger, I reared a peacock at my grandma’s house.
Sho: [explodes in laughter]
Jun: A peacock…
Nino: You mean you can rear a peacock just like that?
Sho: Weren’t you living on the edge? Did it turn out okay?
Aiba: It was alright, things went fine.
Nino: So you kept birds too.
Aiba: Yes I did rear birds as well. I kept a chicken too.
Nino: When I opened the door to the pen, a bird flew out…
Aiba: Oh, that was the parrot.
Sho: Seriously, you kept all sorts of pets.
Aiba: My dad, grandma and grandpa liked pets.
Nino: That’s a family that likes animals. It’s all in the blood.
Aiba: That hasn’t changed. Till today, I still love animals.
Nino: What’s probably changed was the fact that you started to open up and talk more, isn’t it?
Sho: That’s true, if you think about it.
Nino: You were so docile and quiet before. How about the areas in which Jun has changed?
Sho: I think he’s still the “Comedy Leader”. That hasn’t changed.
Ohno: Fufu. (sniggers)
Sho: Give us a recent…
Aiba: One-shot gag?
Nino: It’s trendy to have [a one-shot gag] every year. (laughs)
Aiba: As expected of our Comedy Leader.
Nino: Because of that, your worth [expectations of Jun] goes up too.
Jun: Yeah, I’ve not done any gags so far this year.
Nino: Isn’t it time something came from you soon?
Jun: That’s true, there’s only 2 months left till the year is over. I gotta hurry! (laughs)
Sho: Well, jokes aside (laughs), MatsuJun, your figure has changed right? You used to be pretty slender.
Jun: [Looks at the reference photographs] 5 years after we debuted, I had put on 10 kg.
Sho: That’s amazing.
Jun: I was originally 48 kg.
Nino: It was virtually your growing stage.
Sho: Yup, that’s something that happens after you turn 16.
Nino: Your figure has definitely changed.
Sho: You’ve grown to possess a great body! (laughs shyly)
Jun: “Great body” indeed… You just grossed me out with your comment! (laughs) But you know, if you look at us as Arashi, hasn’t our group dynamics changed? You would think that after experiencing the things that we have for the past ten years, we would have changed in one way or another.
Nino: True, true. What do you think, Riida?
Ohno: Have we changed? I don’t know.
Jun: So what do you think are the areas where we’ve remained the same?
Ohno: The five of us.
Aiba: Yeah, we haven’t had any member changes.
Nino: But to our observers, they would be able to notice the change. We’ve been doing this with just the five of us anyway.
