T: So it was.
O: Since it was a secret, she couldn’t really give out [obvious] hints.
T: Yeah.
O: Based on that premise, that made it rather hard though. Hold on for a bit, here we have another listener.
T: OK.
O: Okay I think we’ll proceed from here. Well then, do we have another caller? Hello~?
H: Hello?
O: Thanks for tuning in. Oguri Shun here.
T: Ikuta here.
H: Good evening.
O: Could you please tell us your name?
H: Hiromi here.
O: Hiromi-san.
H: Yes.
O: How old are you?
H: 31 years old.
O: 31 years old… Incidentally, Hiromi-san, what are you currently doing?
H: I’ve been listening to the radio.
O: You weren’t doing anything else whilst listening to the radio?
H: Oh, yes. Ah, I was also on mixi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mixi) for a while…
O: So you were on mixi at the same time.
T: Fufufu. So you were on mixi at the same time. [Translator’s note: I give up on trying to interpret Toma’s giggles.]
H: Yes I was.
O: Incidentally, we asked Ririka-chan the same question a while ago; have you watched the drama?
H: Yes I have.
O: Thank you very much. Soo… between Sano and Nakatsu, who do you think is better?
H: Sano-kun.
O: Thank YOU! That’s great ~~ Smashing. Seriously.
T: Oooooh--- Hahaha.
O: That was close [literal: dangerous], too close. Don’t you think?
T: Good for you, eh? That’s great.
O: If [Hiromi] said Nakatsu, I think that at the end of today, I would leave the show to Toma and go home.
T: Hahahaha.
H: That would be upsetting, won’t it?
O: Well well, it does seem that way. We’d like to try and dig out Hiromi-san’s secret, however. How long have you kept this secret for?
H: Since yesterday.
O: Since yesterday.
T: A secret that happened yesterday. How timely—
O: Yes it’s rather timely. And the people who know about this secret are?
H: There are none. Only I know about it.
O: No one. Is this a secret that you don’t want anyone to know about?
H: I don’t want people to find out about it, but sooner or later this will be brought to light.
O: A secret that will inevitably be brought to light.
H: Probably.
T: “Probably”… Hoo hoo.
O: And the person which you want to keep the secret from the most?
H: My husband.
O: Your husband. Incidentally how long have you been married to your husband?
H: A little over 3 years.
O: What happens if your husband were to find out?
H: He probably would be upset, erm, and our relationship would be strained, perhaps.
O: The relationship would probably be strained.
T: I see, I see.
O: Well, how about it Toma-kun. With regards to this secret.
T: It happened yesterday?
H: Yes.
T: What time did it occur yesterday?
H: Yesterday evening. About 4, 5 o’clock.
O: 4, 5 o’clock. So you were in the midst of preparing for dinner? Or shopping for dinner.
T: I see…
O: Incidentally, did it feel like something you did on an impulse?
H: An impulse? Err…
O: Why do you feel like you must keep that matter a secret?
H: Ah, in all honesty, I didn’t keep this secret for the sake of wanting to keep one. Rather, it felt like I had done [something I shouldn’t have].
O: Done [something you shouldn’t have].
H: Yeah, it felt like I did it [but I shouldn’t have].
O: So you said that if the secret were revealed, it would result in a quarrel or your husband’s displeasure. But would it come as such a total shock to your husband?
H: Yes, I think it would be a rather big shock.
T: I see. For some reason or another, I feel like I’ve got the answer. I did. Somehow.
O: I would be happy if you could give another hint. [More cajoling, Shun-kun?]
H: A hint? Hmmm. Yes, it didn’t have to do with the time, but I was going to the nursery where my child was. And the secret involves that.
O: And the thing you shouldn’t have done, did you do it outdoors?
H: It was outdoors.
O: And if you did it indoors it wouldn’t be a secret.
H: Yes.
T: So you did [something you shouldn’t have done] outdoors. Nursery? Erm, erm, erm… I see.
O: And –
T: And?
O: Her husband would be very hurt. He’d suffer a terrible shock. Just a little hint for now yeah.
T: Are we going to write it down?
O: Shall we have a go at it?
T: Understood. This is difficult, man. Although I have this feeling that I’ve come across the answer.
O: Hiromi-san, we’ll be writing our answers down now.
H: Yes.
O: Well, I would like to give my answer first. You ran the car [into something].
T: Ooooh.
O: [to Hiromi-san] Please hold on for a moment, okay? Passing the baton on to Toma-kun.
T: I have something similar here, which is that you spoilt something. For example, you could have spoilt something that your husband held very dear. Something like that.
O: Incidentally [this has got to be one of the most overused words in the Japanese vocabulary. Or maybe just Shun's], Hiromi-san, could you please tell us the correct answer?
H: Yes. Erm, the correct answer is that I scratched the car.
T: Amazing!
O: SEEEEI KAAAAI !! [literal: Correct answer!]
T: Amazing, Ogurian!
O: Ogurian!
T: Ahahahaha.
O: Here it comes!
