Eulogy to Arashi no Shukudai-kun

It’s been a few weeks, and I still feel a strange emptiness when I don’t have new ANS episodes to look forward to on Tuesday mornings. The list below sums up the ten things which I loved about the show. Truly, no other show they do will ever be the same.

 

 

The ten things I will miss about ANS:

 

1.       The ANS staff team that pretty much lets the boys do what they want.

2.       Aiba Land. Enough said.

3.       Riida’s cry of “Umee~” every time he gets fed something delicious

4.       Sho’s “Maximum Umai!”

5.       Sho’s charades

6.       Johnny’s Obaka Sports Day

7.       Nino’s witty ripostes to Aiba’s silliness

8.       The Marvellous, albeit short-lived, Matsumoto

9.       Pink Ogura-san

10.   Rewinding with Ohmiya

 

*Sniff* I hope the boys get to reprise a show with a similar format.
