I discovered this kid's guitar videos some time back on Youtube; he arranges the percussion, bass and melody and plays at simultaneously on his guitar. He's insane. You need to check out his videos if you haven't.

He plays Merry Go Round, from the soundtrack of Howl's Moving Castle. I love Joe Hisashi's music and to hear Sungha play this is just pure magic. (Pardon the pun.)

A much younger Sungha, who plays the hell out of his guitar in this video.

OMG they're amazing... it's really impressive how they are talented! Of course Sungha has a very elaborated technic but he's older!
And the music itself...joe Hisaishi is one of my favorite music writer so it made my day!!
Thanks for sharing HUGGGG <<33

You should check out Sungha's rendition of Michael Jackson songs, it's very, very good. I like that he's playing mainstream pieces that everyone loves.

I just bought his mp3 set from his website this morning, haha. But my favorite songs rendered by him aren't on it though.

Aww. That's sad to hear. He did cover older songs in his album. I will always have a soft spot for Fields of Gold. I discovered him because he played Big Bang songs on YT tho so I was surprised he didn't have a cover of that. I hope he can do another album where he'd cover more recent pop songs.

Maybe he wanted to cover songs for an international audience, which explains his choice of music? Fields of Gold is awesome, it's such a transcendent song.
