Before Maou... there was Yaoh

I missed watching this show SO much.



Synopsis: Yaoh, literally "King of the Night", is a Japanese drama which stars TOKIO member Matsuoka Masahiro as an ex-gangster in his quest to be the number one host in the Kabuki-cho district of Tokyo. 


Kya~ Kaname Jun! I've always enjoyed his somewhat comedic and serious sides in the various roles he has portrayed. My favorite from him will always be the Hashed Rice Prince from Ryusei no Kizuna, but his character here comes a close second.



And we have youngish Karina!


Her make-up sometimes makes her look older than she really is, but her character is a spunky one here. And no, she HATES Matsuoka in this drama. Will it eventually lead to love!?


Kitamura Kazuki! I never got the charm of this man until I saw him in his other works, but he works the role of top host Seiya so well in this drama.


Hey! It's the guy from Zenkai Girl! Still looking the same and adorable as ever. XD

Yaoh was my reason for falling for Matsuoka and also having a Tokio phase, where I discovered what cool music they make! I really love Mabo in Yaoh, as well as Kaname Jun XD Should re-watch that soon...

Yes! Mr. Traveling Man is such a catchy song! Their 2006 is a really fun listen.
