 Scene 3: The fated encounter of the detective and lawyer

 

Toma receives a call regarding a crime, and he dashes off to investigate the case. 

  




He literally runs into Ohno, who politely asks him where the crime department is. Ironically, Ohno introduces himself as the lawyer for Souda, who is one of his targets.

 

Toma runs off (again) after having obtained Ohno’s namecard, and Ohno watches after him.

that scene involving the last 2 caps really left a great impression on me... from that very little (almost non-existent) smile suddenly turning to that subtle yet spine-chilling, veeery cold expression in just a split of a second was "scaringly awesome!" -- no line needed.

maybe its just me, but somehow it makes you think if all actors can pull that kind of acting... hehehe ^^
