I'm loving this collaboration for many reasons...
Top reason: Nino's open-mouthed expression during the song.
"Oh! Didn't see that chord."
"Okay! Got it!"
"That was close!" No kidding, he was mouthing, "危ねえ！" throughout the entire performance! We love you too, Nino.
More "That was close!" mouthing.
Nino messes up a note on his "solo" here, but kinda laughs it off.
Getting into the groove...
"That was seriously a close shave!"
End of performance and Nino gives his biggest fanboy smile EVER.
This collaboration was impromptu, and Takamizawa literally arrows Nino to play before the performance was due to begin. This explains why Nino was looking at the chords all the time and basically freaking out through 90% of the performance. Well done, Neen~!

Date: 2012-08-27 05:37 am (UTC)I don't listen as much as I used to but they are an awesome band. They got a long discography but I like their rock-ish songs because the old men can show off their insane musicianship. AND TAKAMIZAWA HAS THE COOLEST GUITARS.
I can't read Nihonggo but I remember the melody so I'll just link some of them. Sorry I can't recommend properly.

I like that The Alfee were guests in a segment for 24hr tv. I found out that they also released an album this year. Will hunt for it.
