ROFL dying right now, please excuse me.

Sho: Nino, you love gravure idols, right?

Nino: I ADORE them to death!
source: Himitsu no Arashi, 8 Feb 2013
Not exactly shocking news, but I still died nonetheless. Nobody told me that this episode was going to be so epic!!
Edited to add:
Hello, hello!
Feb. 7th, 2013 02:55 pmThanks for your responses, everyone! I managed to find the scans of the Ray Magazine online. ♥

Whoever made this is a genius, really.
The creator basically overlaid the vocal tracks of Arashi's "Face Down" and Perfume's "Spending All My Time" together into a stylistic and magical amalgamation. I was blown away!
I basically loved how the video editor interspersed the Perfume members knocking on a locked door while the Arashi members sing about hiding in a dark room. ♥ ♥ ♥

Before Maou... there was Yaoh
Feb. 4th, 2013 05:48 pmI missed watching this show SO much.

Synopsis: Yaoh, literally "King of the Night", is a Japanese drama which stars TOKIO member Matsuoka Masahiro as an ex-gangster in his quest to be the number one host in the Kabuki-cho district of Tokyo.

Kya~ Kaname Jun! I've always enjoyed his somewhat comedic and serious sides in the various roles he has portrayed. My favorite from him will always be the Hashed Rice Prince from Ryusei no Kizuna, but his character here comes a close second.
( More familiar faces under the cut! )

With Kagiheya, my personal catharsis came in the form of crossover fanfiction; but for the current season of Last Hope, I though it'd be more appropriate to do a character analysis. You'll find commentaries and parts of Dr. Takumi's dialogue here, so don't say I didn't warn you about SPOILERS.

( You say some pretty harsh things while smiling, you know? )

Takumi’s role as a general practitioner (GP) within the Biomedical and Innovation center meant that he often serves as the first line of contact with patients. Nicknamed by his colleagues as the “Private Doc”, Takumi often uses a combination of his keen observation skills and creativity to devise a suitable diagnosis for his patients.

Am I the only one watching this show?
Jan. 28th, 2013 05:45 amMatsuko no Shiranai Sekai (A World Unbeknownst to Matsuko) is a talk show hosted by Matsuko Deluxe where she investigates everything from Pepsi, Dams to Stuntmen. I catch this mainly for the Matsuko quips and her LOLz expressions.
There's also a GANTZ reference in this current episode about stuntmen and stuntwomen. And did you know that there are only 58 stuntmen in Japan!? The things I learn from Matsuko.

It's a testament to how awesome this week's VSA was when I took about 60 odd screencaps from the episode. There's just so much love in the house! And it's not just within Arashi. ♥ ♥ ♥

This duo may just be my new OTP for this drama season.

And we get gratuitous shots of Jun because VSA producers know that fangirls are dying to analyse his new hair.
( "Last Hope is a drama where there's lots of doctors." )

Was I the only one who was bored during the VSA New SP with Tunnels as the guest? Arashi needs to go on other people's shows again and demonstrate the same amount of crack that we saw in THIS epic show.

Moji-Rai!

Moji-JUN! I saw this coming from a mile away but that didn't stop my mind from imploding all the same.
( MOJI MOJI~!!! )

In honor of Satoko, I present to you...
Jan. 11th, 2013 12:49 am...lots of photoshopped Arashi in drag!!
Some of these pictures are actually pretty darn believable.

Doesn't Sho eerily remind you of Horikita Maki here?

I wonder if Nino's mom ever looked like this...
( He-she-he? )

So Jun's still pretty popular in Korea...
Jan. 9th, 2013 08:21 pmApparently Youtube still is a treasure trove of videos despite the crackdown from all the Japanese TV networks. Well, this is safe, since it's Korean variety. In this video, Kara and a few other Korean celebrities talk about Arashi, and Jun in particular. Catch Kara being all starstruck and gushing over sharing an elevator with J!
In which Nagase enthralls Jun with trivia on tunnels on Tokyo.

Part of the fun in this lies in watching Nagase and Jun wolfing down that steak. Nagase + Beef = Epic TV. Remember when he was a guest on Shukudai-kun and ate from a giant skewer of Shawarma?
( In which Nagase plays host. Somewhat. )

It's just so rare to hear Toma sing. He's got a decent voice, too bad at points he was almost drowned out by the band. And did you see Takamizawa from The ALFEE?
Thanks to
source

I'm loving this collaboration for many reasons...
( The distance under the starry sky + lots of Nino faces )
